“ First time at Roosters. Fab Turkish food with the garlic mushroom starter the best I’ve ever had. The portion sizes are huge even on the starters. I took home a doggy bag with half my main in it. The quality, presentation and portion sizes easily justify the price. I’d recommend. ”

The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and greeted us as though we were his only customers despite the place being half full. The service he provided was personal, nothing was too much trouble and he has a cracking sense of humour. 80 for a starter, 4 mains & drinks. The food, of which, would not be out of place in some of the places which have Michelin stars. Would recommend this place... Definitely visit on an empty stomach as the portions are biiiiig ”
“ An outstanding evening meal for a family birthday. This is the second time I have eaten here and it really is superb. Beautifully decorated, with luxury touches. The menu is detailed so needs to be studied. The food is cooked and presented to perfection. Even the salad leaf, tossed in oil tastes amazing! We were a party of 5 and ate starters, mains, just 1 dessert and coffees. Everything we had was exceptional. The owner greets you like family and really makes the experience a special one. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was busy.. this isn’t surprising considering the quality of food, service and ambience. One of the nicest local restaurants I have been to. Highly recommended. ”

I would recommend either having lots mezze or having a main as having both can easily lead to ordering too much food. The service very efficient and friendly and they were kind enough to put our excess food in boxes to take away, rather than have us do it ourselves. ”

“ Honestly I would say this is the best restaurant in Dorking (and there's a lot of great places for food here!) The food is absolutely exquisite the space is big and bright- the renovation as opposed to a few years ago has done wonders for the restaurant! Best falafel I've ever had and as someone who never eats baklava... The baklava made at this restaurant by the chef was absolutely to die for! Every dish is absolutely spectacular and the lovely atmosphere makes everything all the more enjoyable! The owner is also very funny and playful which makes for an overall lovely experience! Although this can be a bit pricey- absolutely worth every penny and would rival any restaurant in London (that would charge 3x the price!) Everyone should go to this restaurant at least once if you're in the area (although I can guarantee you'll end up going there many more times after that!) ”
